The complaints were the Champion Power Equipment 46515 Powered Portable Generator is made specifically for RV usage so it comes with only a 3 prong transfer cord with a 120v outlet. One client stated he called the local Champion listed repair outlets to see if the product was reliable and several stated they had never even seen a champion generator so it obviously needed fewer repairs than other brands. There is available for purchase the 4-prong transfer cord if you do buy the wrong generator hook-up. Several clients mentioned this is a great back-up generator for power outages or for tailgating parties but that the noise level was a little high for their comfort. One customer suggested purchasing the Coleman Cable 01915 3-Foot Generator Power Cord Adapter, 10/3 Splitter Y Adapter, L5-30P to (2) Lighted 5-20R” from Amazon, as it breaks the L5-30 plug out into two regular household plugs.
